Heads Up!

It’s been a busy Easter holidays for staff.
Ms. Leonard gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Despite arriving a little earlier than planned, baby and mum are both doing well and we are all looking forward to a visit soon. Mrs. Endsor has moved into Dosbarth Snowdrop to cover her maternity leave and Dosbarth Rowan have the pleasure of Mrs. Davies five days a week rather than the two she was doing previously.
Miss Prosser in Dosbarth Willow was married and will now be known as Mrs. Evans. I am sure you will all join me in wishing her and her husband a life filled with love and laughter.

We have a busy half term coming up starting with the Urdd Rugby Sevens Festival next week then a football tournament, Sports Days and a Dance Festival! We are committing to being Healthy Heroes this half term for sure!

We have decided to postpone the parent consultations that are on the planner for next week as it was only recently that teachers met with you regarding the writing of Outcome Development Plans. We thought it would be more beneficial to offer you the opportunity to meet with staff in Summer Term 2 once the reports have been sent out to ensure you have opportunity to ask any questions of current teaching staff as well as meet prospective new teachers.

In order for us to continue to provide students with the opportunity to access cookery lessons in our Food Technology Room, we will be requesting donations of £1 a week, payable via ParentPay. Class teachers will let you know as and when they are planning to include sessions in their timetable which will be dependent on age and stage. As always, no learner will miss out on these opportunities if you are unable to make the donation. If you have any problems with the ParentPay system please email Joanna Davies.

Thank you so much to the individuals who have stepped forward and volunteered to join our Governing Body. Your support is very much appreciated.
