To develop the principles and practice of THRIVE
To develop a systematic approach to the early identification of emotional development need in pupils so that differentiated provision can be put in place quickly by the adults work-ing most closely with the pupil.
To obtain data that will dovetail with curriculum assessment data to support pupils’ neurological development and well-being.
To use a developmental framework to clarify the connections between emotional and social development, be-havior and learning.
To further develop the principles and practice of use of technology across the school
Refresh and Update Staff skills audit and analyse
Update Software and hardware audit
Establish Microsoft Enterprise l license agreement and develop working practice which includes ‘ One Drive’
Further establish use of immersion/ sensory rooms
Increase appropriate use of software available on school system

AUTISM FRIENDLY SCHOOL
AFS Award gained in July 2015
Ensure all staff have autism awareness training and are familiar with AFS guid-ance.
Review Behaviour policy to reflect AFS strategies.
Parents/carers to participate in one page profile updates during AR
Collaborative work to continue with SaLT to ensure all AFS strategies are embedded.
Ensure consistent use of symbols/signage across the whole school.
Ensure all classrooms have an effective ’calm’ space.
“Talkabout” to be a routine part of class activity.
Produce appropriate targets from Data analysis for SLT discussion and Governor approval
Establish positive rewards system of Golden Ticket
LITERACY AND NUMERACY FRAMEWORK
To develop and embed the principles and practice of LNF across the school
To moderate samples of work and provide a consistent standard of assessment
To refine reporting template to reflect on progress of individual pupils in LNF

To further develop and embed the princi-ples and practice of DARR across the school.
Develop alternative methods of assess-ment recording as appropriate for Welsh Curriculum and all learners

Ensure links to all methods of assessment including Thrive
Analyse current attendance, FSM, LAC and ethnicity data
Identify other sources of assessment data as appropriate to discrete groups within the school
Continue to share standardised analysis of specific appropriate data to target audiences
